Children can explore, experiment, discover and solve problems in imaginative ways.  We encourage children's learning and inquiry through interactions that stretch their thinking to higher levels. The learning that happens as part of our curriculum is always changing, because it is driven by the children, what they might find, what they may experience, or where we might be. Outdoor learning is a child-directed and play-based educational framework that connects children to the world around them.  Children learn teamwork, build relationships, takes risks and develop their curiosity.  Recent research shows that spending time outdoors supports children's overall development, health, and well- being.

Our approach is based on the knowledge that children learn best through interactive and engaging nature- based learning experiences.  When children experience nature, they learn problem solving, explore and discover, question and find answers, work together and individually, and generate a curiosity for our environment/world.

Teachers develop provocations with the child's right to play in mind. Activities fully engage children and offer multiple opportunities for them to practice skills and be challenged in their learning.
